The Charlotte Letter is offering an internship position designed to make a real-life impact on the thousands of customers who embrace our products. This 10-week internship program will provide you with tangible and involved problem-solving situations from the start, hands-on experience with creating the product, exposure to working directly with industry customers, and opportunities to exchange ideas with our design team! This is truly an entrepreneurial experience.

 TCL is becoming one of the leading brands of adaptive clothing for kids with special needs. You will assist the Design & Merchandising teams and will be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses, while learning to create tech packs and help oversee product timelines.  

 This intern position will start the summer of 2022. 


Design Intern Duties And Responsibilities


• You'll be considered for another internship the following year or a full-time position once you graduate from school.

• Assisting design team in creating designs that fit into seasonal concepts and specific brand visions

• Collaborate w/ merchants to build assortments and react to fashion trends

• Provides technical details to our manufacturing partners for managing sample development

• Produces sketches and may make seasonal presentations of proposed designs

• Create and Manage tech packs through our software and communicate w/ manufacture vendors on sample development



Sherman, TX (Just 40 mins outside of Dallas)
This person can work remotely 



• Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Merchandising

• 3.0 GPA or higher

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills

• Experience with Powerpoint, Word, and Excel preferred or Apple version of software.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
